CAE Speaking Part 3 Skype Coaching

Last week I recorded a one-hour Skype lesson with Sebastian and Tim, two young Germans who have their CAE exam soon. We practiced parts 3 and 4 of the Speaking Test.

Sebastian had scoured this website for tips so his strategies were pretty good, and Tim has studied English in the USA, but I was still able to give some useful feedback.

When I went to edit the video I realised I hadn't recorded the sound. Doh!

Thankfully the guys were happy to come on Skype again. I made up a CAE Speaking Test Part 3 task:

I had the flu so I wasn't at 100%, and Sebastian and Tim didn't do a lot wrong. By the way, it's much harder to interact when you're not in the same room as your partner, so bear that in mind! I'm sure you'll find it useful. Here you go:

Watch as I help Sebastian and Tim get a better grade in the Speaking Test. We had a Skype lesson the week before but I didn't record the sound... I was happy to see that they'd absorbed the tips I'd given them
